As Pakistan witnesses the counting of votes for the general elections, Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) takes the lead with candidates supported by the party ahead on 154 seats. 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed's son Talha Saeed has lost out to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-backed Latif Khosa from Lahore's NA 122 seat.

The initial trends indicate a tough competition, with candidates backed by PTI surpassing the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), leading on 47 seats. This development suggests the possibility of a significant political shift in the country.

Nawaz Sharif's party has secured victory on two out of four seats, as per the data from the Pakistan Election Commission website. PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan claimed that his party is leading in more than 150 National Assembly (NA) seats, expressing confidence in a "spectacular victory" and forming government in the Center and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

In a video message shared before the elections, Imran Khan urged his supporters to participate actively in the voting process, emphasizing the impact of their choices on the future. He encouraged citizens to turn out in large numbers, stating that the elections would determine their fate and the future of their children.
